Built in 1991, the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge carries the Indianapolis Cultural Trail across the Downtown Canal. In 2019, the bridge was repainted and unofficially renamed the Orange Bridge after an online poll selected the color over over blue, green, and gold.
