  • I was there and saw it all happen. Was staying at a friends vacation home on Mt. Olympia street a short distance from here last sunday. Saw smoke, saw ash falling from sky...walked around house to front yard, look down the street: wall of flames and smoke half a mile away. Neighbors started packing up belongings so we did too. Took photos, paintings, etc from the house and fled. Later found out the house we were staying at did in fact burn down.
