JAT Yugoslav Airlines flight 367 crashed here after being bombed on January 26th, 1972. killing 27 of the people on board except for one; Vessna Vulovic, whom was soon given the title of the person to have fallen the highest height without a parachute, with the altitude being roughly 33,000 feet.
