Jelenia Góra (jɛˈlɛɲa ˈgura (help·info); German: Hirschberg im Riesengebirge) is a city in Lower Silesia, southwestern Poland. The name of the city means "deer mountain" in Polish and German.Jelenia Góra is situated in Lower Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999), having previously been the seat of Jelenia Góra Voivodeship (1975-1998).
