  "Bazaar Jawhar Nagar" more famously known as "Block Bazaar" in Mauaima Tehsil Soraon Prayagraj is one among the most famous bazaars in this area.It is located on the outskirts of Mau Aaima town. It is a by weekly Bazaar which operates on Wednesday and Saturday with whole sellers and retailers from all the nearby districts. It was first setup in 1950 Hon M.g.s.t Intekhab Uddin and is know taken care by his grandsons Dr. Nadeem Intekhab and Er. Nooruddin Saifi. Apart from the weekly grocery shopping the Bazaar is not only the hub for economic exchange through physical money or many a times barter system but also an avenue for social interactions and political debate. It reinforces the local networks and adds to the cultural wisdom of the locals.
