This bridge carries Interstate 695 (Southeast Freeway) over 7th Street and 8th Streets Southeast. Also beneath the bridge, between 7th and 8th Streets, is public and private parking. The bridge is a six span, steel beam bridge with concrete deck built in 1969-1970 and reconstructed in 2002. It is just west of the Exit 1C-1D interchange.
