William R. Heide, Jr. Residence (Munsey Park, New York)

USA / New York / Manhasset / Munsey Park, New York
 residence, Colonial Revival (architecture)

Residence built c. 1931 in the Colonial Revival style. It was presumably first purchased by William R. Heide, Jr. who was an heir to the Heide Candy Company concern.

In 1942, Heide was robbed by the notorious "funeral burgular", George Wagenhauser who would scout newspapers for obituary notices to see when families would not be home. $750 on jewelry was recovered.
