5-story cooperative-apartment building completed in the early 1870s. It is clad in red-painted smooth-stucco (except for the top floor, which remains reddish-orange brick) above a ground floor of red brick. The entrance at the north end has a metal-framed glass door and sidelight under a dark-green clamshell canopy, framed by dark-green iron pilasters that are fluted at the bases and paneled at the tops; there is another pilaster at the south end. To the right of the doorway are two single-windows with iron grilles, set in slightly-recessed bays between a brick pier; the bases of these bays are sloped. A grey-green band of corrugated metal tops the ground floor.

The upper floors have three bays of single-windows with white metal cornices, and the top floor is set off by a thin string course. The roof line is capped by a simple metal coping.
