Sungai Dua is a neighbourhood within the city of George Town. Located within the Gelugor suburb, Sungai Dua is located approximately 7.9km southwest of the city centre. Sungai Dua is named after the Sungai Dua river, which has been canalized.
Sungai Dua experienced rapid development following the establishment of the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone (Bayan Lepas FIZ) in 1972.
