8-story residential building completed in 1910. Designed by William L. Rouse, it is clad in buff-colored brick with terra-cotta trim above a 2-story, cream-colored, rusticated limestone base. The round-arched entrance is at the east end, with paneled glass-and-wood double-doors below a fanlight. The entry is framed by a molding of bellflowers, and covered by an arched glass-and-iron canopy, above which is a carved shield flanked by fruit garlands and ribbons. To the right the ground floor has a narrow single-window, a tripartite window with an upper transom, and a larger single-window with an upper transom. There are basement windows below, with the basement areaway fronted by a cream-colored iron fence with crown-shaped decorations in the bars.
The upper floors have five bays of single-windows, with the end bays spaced farther apart. At the 2nd floor they have bracketed sills and small, rounded iron railings at the bottoms. The base is capped by a cornice with a row of small dentils and egg-and-dart molding, above a frieze with rosettes and triglyphs.
The windows on the 3rd-6th floors have terra-cotta surrounds with rope moldings topped by brick lintels. The 7th floor is set off by a string course with an egg-and-dart molding, which has been removed in the center section. It has brick paneling on the piers. This floor is topped by a dentiled terra-cotta cornice with a large cartouche at the center that is flanked by garlands. The 8th floor has rope moldings at the end bays, while the middle three windows are divided by columns from which spring three round-arches with brick voussoirs, and with roundels within the arches. The facade is crowned by a green metal roof cornice with brackets and dentils.
The building contains 34 apartment units.
