Within the new Hearst Tower is the Good Housekeeping Dining Room which is a complete replica of the original living and dining room in the Joseph Urban-designed 1920's building for Hearst. It is decorated with antique furnishings, 18th century rolling pins, and first-edition cookbooks. Every sitting president except for Bill Clinton and George W. Bush has dined there. Prior to the new construction in 2006, all of the items were carefully catalogued and stored for the transition to the new tower.

The space is now used to hold private events for the Hearst Corporation. It is also available for viewing by the general public on tours of the Good Housekeeping Institute.
