This large property is a fifteen-acre estate, featuring a two-and-a-half story clapboard-clad Colonial Revival style main house, with a slate roof punctuated by dormers, and multi-light windows. While the house is hidden from view, a two-andone-half story, clapboard vernacular Greek Revival style gate keeper’s house with front porch, built c. 1840s, stands at the Griffen Avenue entrance to the property. Its angled second-floor bay was probably constructed later in the nineteenth century for Lederer Ducoudray; later purchased by Harry Winston.

Other buildings on the site include a three-car garage, three barns, a greenhouse, tennis court, pool house and swimming pool. Alterations include the construction of a three-car garage with chauffeur’s quarters above in 1927, and repairs to the main house following a fire in 1987.
