  • HIIIIIIIIIIIII ME TUMHARA STUDENT HU OR TU NE MERA FUTUER BARBAD KAR DIYA.
  • Mr. XYZ, koi school kabhi kisi ka future barbad nahi krta balki us waqt aapne jo waqt barbad kiya GIC ke maidan me cricket aur football khel kar (jabki idhar ghanta chal raha hota tha) aap us waqt ko yaad karke pachhta rahe honge. hai na????? I love my college G.I.C.......
  • Yes sir agree with you, it is not the college who spoil anyone it is the person who did not take his future seriously.
  • I also agree with the comment that college never spoils any ones future. It just provides the platform to built ur career. My dear friend the same college would have produced scholars who have done much better in life than most of us. The only thing which created the difference was the thinking of urs and those who succeeded. Of course there is a kind of environment which attracts a student to deviate frm doing what you were expected, but for that u can't blame ur college. Try to find always solutions not problem. You are now atleast aware of mistakes what you have done. So try and overcome them as you also want to improve… TRY, “Try” is a magical word, you can always use it before giving up.. All the very best dear friend…

  • Dear sir I want to know that when list will be upload of candidates called for GIC LT Grade Merit Or How can I know that my Name is there in list or not if I come under merit.
  • SHYAM KISHORE (Guest) Dear All , I studied in GIC , Faizabad from 1946 to 1956 , when the college was divided in two parts , one parting education from Class III to Class VII having a Head Master as the head and the other from Class IX to Class XII having a Principal as the head . Those years were my formative years and decidedly the best years of my life . There was no dress code and most of us wore shirt and pajama or half pant . Medium of teaching was Hindi , though in the science stream English books were also a necessity . A lot of friends were close to me , I am naming just those who were very close to me - Navin Chandra Agrawal , Shakeel Ahmad Khan (joined college in Class XI) , Narendra Nath Chakravarti , Vijay Krishna Datt Mishra , Raj Narain Agrawal , Shiv Bahadur Singh , Gopal Narain Srivastav , Ramanuj Mishra , Girish Chandra Srivastav , Sukomal Bose , Sudhanshu Mishra , Anand swarup Shrivastav , Sarva Prasad Singh . In Class IX we were separated into Science , Commerce and Arts streams . I was in Science stream with Maths . Raj Narain was from Rudauli and stayed in the Junior Hostel which was within the college campus . Ramanuj was from Sultanpur and stayed in the Senior Hostel across the Railway line . I , Navin , Narendra , Vijay and Girish got First Division in Class X Board Exam . In Intermediate Board Exam I , Navin , Shakeel , Narendra and Vijay got First Division . Our College was very proud of us on our constant good performance in Exams. After passing from GIC , myself , Navin , Shakeel and Narendra joined various Engineering courses in different Engineering Colleges . I joined Civil Engineering in University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) . For a year , after GIC and before joining IIT , I studied BSc (Part-I) in Allahabad University as I was under age for the Engineering Course at Roorkee (BSc and other normal graduate courses were of 2 year's duration during those days). At Allahabad I had the fortune of listening to 'Madhushala' recital by Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan . Our teachers in all classes were very considerate and tried to give us the best possible education . Mention may be made of a few notable ones who taught us in Classes XI & XII . Shri C.K. Go. (Physics) was also adept at playing on Harmonium and Tabla , Shri S.K. Mukherjee (Chemistry) , Shri Rastogi (Maths) , Shri Raj Mani Mishra (Hindi) and Shri S.R. Zeb (English) .I played Hockey and Football and occasional Cricket (not very popular at that time) . There were no electric fans in class rooms . A long wooden beam , with equally long and about 75 cm deep thick Kaleen type cloth was fixed to it at its bottom . A man sitting outside class rooms would pull it back and forth by a thick rope passing over a pulley fixed in a hole made in the wall . Our study desks had an inbuilt metal ink pot in which ink was filled every morning . We had to use pen holders with a nib attached to it and had to dip it frequently in the ink pot . We were given . We were given refreshments in the interval time , which consisted of Gram or peas in their various preparations and occasionally roasted peanuts . My elder brother Shri Panna Lal , who had also studied at GIC is recorded in the Wikipedia as one of its famous alumni . He was a member of Parliament for 3 consecutive terms of 5 years each (first from Faizabad itself and then from Akbarpur , which was a part of Faizabad then and is presently a separate district known as Ambedkar Nagar .and then became a Member of the U.P. , Public Service Commission , which position he held till his untimely death due to heart problem . I wish all the alumni of GIC all the happiness and fond memories of GIC , Faizabad .
