Punta Sierra Wind Farm is located in the Coquimbo Region of Chile, right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean about 75 km southwest of Ovalle (longer along the road) at km 316 of the Pan-American Highway near the village of Mantos de Hornillos. Commissioned in 2018, it consists of 32 Goldwind GW121/2500 wind turbines (power 2500-kW, diameter 121 m, hub height 89 m) with a combined nominal capacity of 82 MW.
