Chuí Wind Farm is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, 3-9 km ENE-east of the town of Chuí. Although developed at the same time, it consists of 5 legally separate wind farms. Each is one 'string' of turbines, and all of them were commissioned in 2015. The individual farms are named (from northeast to southwest) Chuí I, Chuí II, Chuí 09, Chuí IV and Chuí V. Chuí I-V all contain Gamesa G97/2000 wind turbines (12, 11, 11 & 15, resp.), whereas Chuí 09 contains 10 1.79-MW turbines (probably model GE Energy 1.7-100). In total, the 59 turbines have a combined nominal capacity of 115.9 MW.
