The first stage (2006) consisted of 3 wind farms, called Osório, Sangradouro & Indios, each containing 25 Wobben E70/2000 turbines (with a combined nominal generating capacity for the 75 turbines of 150 MW).
In 2012 a second stage added Osório 2 & 3 and Sangradouro 2 & 3 wind farms, with a total of 50 more turbines: Wobben E82/2300 (combined capacity of 115 MW).
Finally, in 2014, Indios 2 & 3 were built, containing a further 23 turbines: Wobben E92/2300 with combined capacity 52.9 MW.
In total there are 148 Wobben wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 317.9 MW.
Also of note is that the turbines are mounted on concrete towers, each made from 24 segments of precast concrete and one steel segment.
