Pintado Wind Farm is located in the Florida Department of Uruguay, about 25-35 km northwest of Florida (city) and 19 km SSW of Sarandi Grande. Completed in 2014, it consists of 30 Vestas V112/3000 turbines, with a combined nominal capacity of 90 MW.
This wind farm was financed as 3 parts, going by the names of Luz de Mar, Luz de Loma and Luz de Rio, after the three companies (all subsidiaries of Uruguay's Compañía Forestal Uruguaya) that built it/them.
