El Cabo Wind Farm is located about 60 miles ESE of Albuquerque, New Mexico, mostly in the "V" formed by US Highways 60 & 285, 8-15 miles northwest of their junction at the village of Encino. Commissioned in 2017, it consists of 142 Gamesa G114/2100 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 298.2 MW.
