dormitory, Modern (architecture)
112-foot, 10-story early-modern university dormitory completed in 1962. Designed by De Young, Moscowitz & Rosenberg, the building's facades feature a faceted grid of pre-cast concrete with deep-set windows with 8-side framing. The north and south facades span 20 such bays, with 10 wider bays at the ground floor, where there are more traditional concrete piers and 4-pane windows. The main entrance is in the 4th bay from the east, with glass double-doors.
Nagler Hall houses 316 female students in 137 double-occupancy dorm rooms and 15 apartment-style suites.
