Comments

  • Officials from Central Montana Rail have confirmed that raging flood waters from the Judith River have seriously damaged at least two trestles on their rail line connecting Denton and Geraldine to the BNSF railhead at Moccasin. The worst damage has occurred on the quarter-mile-long Judith River trestle, high water washed one of the trestle’s steel support towers off its concrete footings and pushed its base about 15 feet downstream. It is unknown if it will be repaired.
