127-foot, 11-story Modernist building completed in 1972. Designed by Matthew J Warshawer for the Jewish Guild for the Blind, it opened as the Estelle R. Newman Center. The Lighthouse Guild has been officially around since 2013, when the Jewish Guild Healthcare and Lighthouse International merged, but their history can be traced back to helping people who are visually impaired since 1905.

The facade is clad in pre-cast concrete with a 2-story base. The ground floor is slightly recessed and clad in black granite. The central, main entrance is further recessed, with metal-and-glass double-doors, sidelights, and a large transom. On either side are three bays of large 4-over-5 windows with short transoms. The panes are framed by stainless-steel, and a steel band separates the transom panes. There is a gated freight entrance at the east end, and a through-block drive with a roll-down metal gate at the west end. The 2nd floor has score marks and three bays of large, square windows with dark-tinted glass near the west end, while to the east there is a long band of 24 window panes. A thick concrete railing tops the 2nd floor, with the upper floors set back behind it, creating a terrace. The west end of the base extends past the upper floors.

The upper floors are clad in red brick at the ends, with a projecting middle section of concrete panels. This section has a ribbon band of windows on each floor, with wide metal mullions separating each band into 14 panes; the window bands wraps around the corners of the projecting middle section for another pane on the sides. The south face of the brick walls at the ends have no openings. The brick east elevation has a bay of tall, narrow windows at the front next to a bay of square windows; the west elevation has only the bay of square windows. The brick facade extends up past the concrete section, higher on the west end, where there is a mechanical penthouse and water tank enclosure. The rear, north-facing facade has a matching projecting concrete section.

It has since been demolished to be replaced with a tower.
