The site of the former Nortown Theater. It opened on April 4th, 1931, and was then turned into a triplex movie theater in 1984. The movie theater only lasted six years, as it closed in 1990. A community center and then a church used the building, but neither lasted long. In June 2007, the theater was demolished to build a Pakistani and Indian cinema, plus retail and condominiums, but those plans fell through due to the Great Recession. The site became a Wnedy's restaurant in January of 2016.
