288-foot, 27-story modernist cooperative-apartment building completed in 1981. Designed by Philip Birnbaum & Associates, it is clad in silver metal, glass, and dark-grey metal on the spandrels. A 3-story through-block atrium is built into the north end of the building, slightly set back from the rest of the facade on Columbus Avenue and extending past it to Broadway on the east end (see separate entry).

The tower's main entrance is 2nd from the west of the six main bays on the south facade on 62nd Street; there is also a narrow end bay at the west, with a chamfered corner. The entrance has a revolving door flanked by glass-and-metal traditional doors, below a broad stainless-steel canopy. There are varied storefronts in the other bays, with differing metal panels on top. The 2nd & 3rd floors have large plate-glass windows in the wide bays, with the two floors separated by tall black glass spandrels lined with metal bands at the top and bottom. A slightly-projecting metal band caps the base at the 3rd floor, interrupted by each of the piers that extend up to the roof line. The eastern end bay is slightly recessed, with a short angled connecting section. The upper floors have bands of six windows in each bay (two joined triple-windows), between dark-grey metal spandrels; both the windows and spandrels are framed in silver metal.

On the west facade on the avenue, north of the end bay there are a wide bay with two triple-windows, a narrower bay with one triple-window, another wide bay, and another narrow bay. A short angled section connects to the recessed north end bay, like the east end bay on the south facade. This end bay is located above the atrium at the base. There is another projecting metal band at the roof line, again interrupted by the piers.

The north facade is very similar to the south, except with a recessed end bay. The west facade overlooks a 4-story building at the corner and has five bays: two bays of triple-windows fronted by boxy, projecting balconies with glass railings, and a center bay and end bays with double-windows.

The building contains 276 units. The ground floor is occupied by Rosa Mexicano restaurant, Harmony Cleaners, and New York Sports Clubs (also in the basement level).
