The c. 1912 Mediterranean stucco residence designed by Walter L. Hopkins for Nathaniel Huggins. Frederick S. Dudley purchased the home in 1922 and had alterations made and decoration added by Helen Speer.

It was later owned by a member of the Steinway family {Steinway & Sons pianos}, a number of family members lived in the area. The residence became a five bedroom, 4 and 2-half bath home with garage wing and separate guest quarters.
