The museum in Melnik Town is a branch of the Archaeological Museum in Sandanski City and is included as an interesting landmark in the Hundred National Tourist Sites. In the past, the exhibition was housed in the Pasha House, built in 1815, but has now been moved to a new building. In the historical museum you can see the main livelihood in the area of ​​Melnik - wine production. The exposition includes photos of Melnik cellars and facilities related to the processing and storage of Melnik wine.
The museum has a rich ethnographic exposition, including objects related to the history of Melnik - from prehistory to modern times.
