"Foundation work is underway on the 25-story, 31-unit mixed-use building under development at 1 Beekman Street, located on the corner of Park Row in the Financial District. The work can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. In September, YIMBY revealed renderings of the project, which is set to encompass 95,285 square feet and rise 299 feet in height to its main roof. Adding the bulkhead brings the tower’s pinnacle to 335 feet. The first four floors will contain 14,583 square feet of commercial space, with retail on the ground floor and offices on the upper three. The residential units, which will be condominiums, are spread across the sixth through 22nd floors. Urban Muse is the developer and Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners is the design architect. SLCE Architects is serving as the executive architect and completion is expected in early 2018." -New York Yimby
