The oldest beach of Koolimuttam, famous for its fishing boats. This beach is connected by a beach road from the famous Tippu sulatan Road. Although this was a fishing village of olden times, the importance lies in the beauty of the beach. A very wide white sand beach, which had an approach path right from the famous MATHILAKAM centre, FOR REACHING THE DAYS CATCH TO THE NEAREST MATHILAKAM MATKET.The tippusulthan Road and numerous beach roads came subsequentlt. Deepavali snanam at Koolimuttam beach during the Deepavali festival and bali tharpanam during Deepavali at this beach was considered very auspicious. People from very far off places across the Canoli Canal (river) used to come to the beach for the holi dip in the sea. The beach with numerous stalls erected for this festival, served as a village market for the locals and the visitors for their immediate needs during this festival. Besides, games, merry-go-rounds, giant wheels etc. added to the festive mood. Besides two ancient hindu temples,viz. SRI SUBRAMANYA TEMPLE and KILLIKULANGARA TEMPLE added to the beauty of KOOLIMUTTAM. Another holi place of the muslims is the famous KARUKACHALIL PALLI (Mosque).
