Stone was the founder of Stone and Webster, an engineering firm. Also served as director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York{1919-1923}. Designed by nearby neighbor William Wells Bosworth {Old Trees} c. 1927 two and a half story Georgian Revival whitewashed brick remodeled in the 1950s.
