4-story residential building completed in about 1880. There are two joined, nearly matching facades facing the avenue. The south facade is faced in tan-painted stone and the north one in grey-painted stone, above metal-and-glass storefronts. The upper floors have three bays of segmental-arched single-windows on each facade, shorter on the top floor. The south facade has a black metal fire escape, and a simple, black metal roof cornice caps the roof line of both.

The north facade along 51st Street is stuccoed, and painted orange-red on the lower two floors and beige above. The ground-floor storefront from the east facade continues at the east end, with 2-toned fieldstone framing a plate-glass window and door. To the west is a lowered, black wooden door down a few steps, a window opening, and a steep, black stoop leading up to a round-arched entryway at the 2nd floor with a recessed wooden door. Attached at the far west and is a 2-story extension clad in red-painted brick and stone, with wood French doors at the ground floor, and three large double-windows at the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor of the main building has a single-window at the east end, and two bays of paired windows near the middle. The upper floors have single-windows at both ends, and a bay of paired windows and a bay of single-windows in the middle; all the windows openings are segmental-arched. A black-painted band caps the roof line. The ground floor is occupied by Cornerstone Tavern, and The Stag's Head bar at the west extension.
