Residence built c. 1883 in the Long Island farmhouse style which was occupied by Russell Grace D'Oench, Sr {financier, shipping}. D'Oench was a member of the New York Stock Exchange and held administrative posts for Grace Line which was a subsidiary of W.R. Grace & Co. His father lived at "Sunset Hill" in Plandome. A portion of the home was reportedly built c. 1740 and relocated from Flushing.

The home was developed into the Triton Estates while still retaining the main home which was restored by the Dr. Arthur Sackler and Abraham Magid families. It was designated a North Hempstead landmark in 1995.
