Notes: This recreational area consists of the man-made Mirror Lake, along with a dam, a bridge and an observation tower. The facility was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a New Deal program that operated between 1933 and 1942. The program provided work for unmarried, unemployed men who were struggling to find work during the Great Depression.
