Slavyanka is the sixth highest mountain in Bulgaria. The climate of the mountain is mountainous, but there is a strong Mediterranean Influence. Locals call Slavyanka "Posy Mountain" and anyone who once passed through it knows why - it's a colorful meadow with changing seasonal colors. The highest mountain peak is Gotsev Peak (2,212 m). On the territory of the mountain is located "Ali Botush" reserve built because of the need to protect the population of black fir. The most common representatives of the flora are oak, plain and oriental hornbeam, field and hirkanski maple, red juniper and some Mediterranean species such as Etruscan Claw, red anemone, lotus aegeus and more. The mountain is home to wildlife such as brown bears, wolves, deer, wild boar, rabbit, fox, badger, etc. Interesting representatives of bird life here are hobby falcon, hawk, black woodpecker, colorful rock thrush etc.
