archaeological site, ancient ruins

The probable site of the ancient Greek town of Solygeia is the ridge west of Galataki. The settlement was unfortified and spread over neighboring hills and valleys. Other hypotheses include the later site of the Sophiko Castle or, much more proximate, a site southeast of Galataki, around or northeast of Drasa.
