Notes: This roadside park consists of three picnic shelters, walking trails and a stone dam. The dam and two of the picnic shelters are listed individually on the NRHP. The park was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a New Deal program that operated between 1933 and 1942. The program provided work for unmarried, unemployed men who were struggling to find work during the Great Depression.
