Notes: This abandoned powder magazine complex consists of a 9' by 7' building used to store powder, as well as a small 4' by 4' structure that was used to store blasting caps. The structure was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a New Deal program that operated between 1933 and 1942. The program provided work for unmarried, unemployed men who were struggling to find work during the Great Depression.
