4-story Second Empire-style mercantile building completed sometime around 1870 as a townhouse. By around 1900 it had been at least partially converted for commercial use. The ground floor has been replaced, now faced in black metal and glass, with a storefront and a small entrance door at the right for the upper floors.

The upper floors are clad in red brick. The 2nd & 3rd floors each have three bays of windows in white cast-iron frames, with projecting bracketed sills and pediments peaked in the centers, above ornamental patterns. Those on the 2nd floor have angled awnings. The 3rd floor is crowned by a white iron cornice with large brackets. The top floor consists of a brick mansard with two dormers; these also have peaked pediments. Above the dormers, the mansard roof continues in shingles to a ridge line. The building is now occupied by Pax Wholesome Foods.
