Green Power Wind Farm is located in the San Gorgonio Wind Resource Area, comprising some of the many wind turbines visible north of Interstate 10 between Exit 117 &120, north of Palm Springs, California. Commissioned in 1999, it consisted of 22 Zond Z-50 (750-kW) wind turbines on trestle towers with a combined nominal capacity of 16.5 MW.

Since then some of the original turbines have been decommissioned and/or replaced. As of 2018 one turbine in the eastern string is simply gone, and two others in the western string appear to have been replaced by Vestas V47's (660-kW) on monopole towers.
