Streamline Moderne (architecture), interesting place

Designed c. 1936 by Herman M. Sohn as a showroom for the Oldsmobile company as well as a Gulf gas station. The conversion from a showroom to commercial space was designed by Walter E. Blum. It is a significant remaining landmark of early automobile development on Long Island.
