The Flat NYC

USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 24th Street, 25

5-story building originally completed in the late 1800s as a store-and-loft building. It has since been given a completely new facade of stucco scored to resemble stone, and recently operated as the La Semana Hotel, which closed in 2016. The facade was repainted very dark-grey in 2022, and black wooden exterior shutters were added to the windows. The ground floor has a glass-and-metal storefront on the right, with a glass door, down a couple steps from the sidewalk. On the left is the main entrance, also down a couple steps, with a blue wooden door. The upper floors each have three bays of windows; with black clamshell canopies at the 2nd floor; the windows grow shorter on each floor. The roof parapet steps up toward the center. The eastern elevation is similarly stuccoed, but without the scoring. There are a few windows toward the rear.
