Over the Smesite Locality, in the direction of the “Peeshtite skali” (the Singing Rocks) reserve, an old thinned beech forest spreads. An interesting fact is that all the trees in that forest are crooked, split or burned by lighting that often strikes here.
The European hiking route E3 (Kom - Emine) passes through the area.
