a small village on the bank of Tirhut canal .Agriculture is the main occupation of people in this village .A large number is labour. Literacy rate is not far different than that of any Indian remote village.but people are enforcing their child to go out for study. There is a middle school too in the village but for higher education one need to go near by cities. The economic condition is not so good and also the government reach out to this village is very limited .still this village is not connected to electricity and people live in dark.
