condominiums, 1967_construction
119-foot, 14-story residential building completed in 1967. Designed by Alex Danin, it is clad in red brick. The north facade has wide bands of windows with thin metal mullion, and three columns of blue-grey metal spandrels, flanked by two end bays of double-windows. The end bays rise to the 11th floor, while the main section reaches the 12th floor before the set-back 2-level penthouse, which is angled back at the ends. The sidewalls are plain red brick. The ground-floor entrance is offset slightly to the west, with low brick walls on either side fronting plantings, and a canvas canopy extending out to the sidewalk. The building contains 70 condominium units.
