The Han Maara caveThe Han Maara Cave (meaning: house-cave) is the largest cave in the Kalofer region of the Central Balkan area. Following the trail from Rai hut to Botev Pick and Vasil Levski Hut at about 500 m from the hut one can see the cave Han Maara. Soon after passing by the karst spring at the foot of the Raiski Skali rocks and crossing the Praskalska River, when the marvelous waterfall Raisko Praskalo (124.5 m.) in front just appears, below the path gapes the entrance of the cave. Despite that the cave is developed in limestone there are no typical formations. The main gallery is torn down at about 30 m inside and the exact length of the cave is 182 m. There is an underground river. The altitude of the entrance of the cave is 1,450 m.
