Formerly the main processing, packaging and distribution facility for the Fairmount Creamery Corporation, this 1920-built 8-story facility was most recently utilized as a refrigerated storage warehouse before a fire in 1996 idled the operation. Purchased by developers thereafter and largely left derelict by its new owners for the better part of two decades, the building is presently being renovated and converted into mixed-use apartments, office and retail space.
