Construction on the current Everett Mill main building commenced in 1909 and lasted for one year. When completed, it was the largest cotton mill under one roof in the world. A former cotton textile mill, it was the site of the start of the Bread and Roses strike in 1912 and the one-time workplace of Robert Frost.
