Originally open in 1956 by Western Electric, a manufacturing arm of AT&T, the plant became an AT&T property following the company's divestiture in the 1980's. When AT&T created spin-off Lucent Technologies in 1995, the building was sold to Lucent.
Following the downsizing of Lucent in the late 90's and early 2000's the property was acquired by Ozzy Properties with the goal of attracting high-tech/high-end industrial tenants.
