Monte Redondo Wind Farm is located in the Coquimbo Region of Chile, right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean about 65 km southwest of Ovalle (longer along the road) at km 326 of the Pan-American Highway. Commissioned in two phases (2009 and 2011), it consists of 24 Vestas V90/2000 wind turbines (power 2000-kW, rotor diameter 90 m, hub height 80 m) with a combined nominal capacity of 48 MW.
