Village Green West (New York City, New York) | condominium, postmodern (architecture)

USA / New Jersey / Hoboken / New York City, New York / West 14th Street, 245
 condominium, postmodern (architecture)

119-foot, 12-story postmodern residential building completed in 2016. Designed by KBA Architects, it has red brick piers framing four bays of windows, with grey metal spandrels, and a grey stone and glass ground floor with banded piers. The main entrance is on the right, with double-doors below a suspended metal canopy; the other three bays have retail space. At the upper floors the middle two bays are slightly wider than the end bays.

There is a metal cornice at the top of the 8th floor, above which the top four floors are set back, although the middle two bays are only slightly set back at the 9th-10th floors and metal piers replace the brick here. Another cornice tops this section, and a final cornice marks the roof. The farther set-back bays are divided into smaller bays of double-windows.

The building contains 27 condominium units. The ground floor is occupied by New Amsterdam Dispensary.
