Megalithic Burials (about 3000 yrs ago) are sighted over a large rocky area in this region. These are known as " Nannangadi" or " Muniyara" by locals. These structures have three walls and an upper terrace made from large slabs of rocks, about 15 to 20 cm thick. About nine burials are found here side by side.
