Ayyappan Mudi Hill

The Hill Ayyappan Mudi is a small hill with places Neethipuram, Kakkancherry, V.R.T, Ambittantharissu, Palakkuzhi etc. around it. Most of the areas are forests or are rubber plantations. The famous " Thindillam Water Falls" or " Palakkuzhi Water Falls" is situated on one end of this hill.
Megalithic burial sites known as " Nannangadi" or "Muniyaras" are also found near the water fall.
The view of the region from hill top is magnificent, and one can see Mangalam Dam, Pothundi Dam, Peechi Dam, Mangalm Dam town and Vadakkacherry Town from the hill top.
